FOREIGN LANGUAGE PREPARATORY CLASS APPLICATION

There are optional foreign language preparatory classes in Biomedical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Food Engineering, Geomatic Engineering, Civil Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Textile Engineering departments. .
In the Mechanical Engineering and Computer Engineering departments, 30% of the education curriculum is in English, and English preparatory class education is obligatory. The duration of the preparatory program is not included in the 4-year education period.
The language of instruction in the Software Engineering Department is 100% English. English preparatory class education is compulsory. The duration of the preparatory program is not included in the 4-year education period.

EDUCATION MODEL

Face-to-face education program is available in the Computer Eng., Biomedical Eng., Environmental Eng., Electrical-Electronic Eng., Industrial Eng., Industrial Design Eng., Energy Systems Eng., Food Eng., Geomatic Eng., Civil Eng., Mechanical Eng., Materials Science and Eng., Mechatronics Eng. and Textile Engineering departments, and a student-centered model is applied.

PROGRAM ACCREDITATIONS

Biomedical Eng., Electrical-Electronic Eng., Industrial Eng., Food Eng., Civil Eng., Mechanical Eng., and Textile Engineering departments have already been accredited by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK). Environmental Eng., Energy Systems Eng., Geomatic Eng., and Mechatronics Engineering departments have started their preparations for accreditation and will apply for accreditation as of 2021.

DORMITORY INFORMATION

Students of our faculty can benefit from the dormitories within Erciyes University. At the beginning of each academic year, male and female students can apply for dormitories via the link http://yurtlar.erciyes.edu.tr. There are 3 dormitories that offer service in Kayseri. These are Erciyes Boys' Dormitory with a capacity of 1,726 students, Gevher Nesibe Girls' Dormitory with a capacity of 2,133 students, and Melikgazi Girls' Dormitory with a capacity of 1,340 students.
